At DSI, we are working with all growers to be certified in food safety by independent labs. The prevention of contaminants is an essential component of having the proper procedures in place. Reducing the risk starts with our growers. They have been working diligently with Davis Fresh Technologies to be certified through the "ProSafe" program. The "ProSafe Certified" logo appears on the fruit and/or packaging. Along with this certification, the growers' goal is to have the HACCP system in place in their facilities and to be certified with GAP standards.
